Columbus 'Dispatch' Atex Mactive Ad Systems Includes Analytix

By: E&P Staff Atex, Reading, England, and Melbourne, Fla., said it has a contract with The Dispatch Printing Co., Columbus Ohio, for a 250-seat Atex Mactive advertising system to support the The Columbus Dispatch and Dispatch.com, along with more than 30 other publications, including ThisWeek Community Newspapers.

The Atex solution will manage all advertising functions, including classified, retail, preprints, Web ad order entry, Internet sales, contracts, billing, accounts receivable, and business analytics.

Dispatch Vice President and Chief Information Officer Joe Gallo said in a statement that the continuing relationship with Atex will include the use of Analytix -- "a new tool to dynamically understand our business and our customers."
