Columnist Took Early Look at Giuliani-OxyContin Connection

Posted
By: E&P Staff The New York Times today ran a front-page story on how the makers of OxyContin last year turned to Rudy Giuliani and his consulting business for public-relations help when the painkiller was under attack.

But syndicated columnist Don McNay has "been hammering on Giuliani's connection to the OxyContin makers since May," he said.

His first column about the OxyContin role of now-GOP candidate Giuliani appeared May 20. It can be seen here: http://www.donmcnay.com/content/view/276/9/

McNay does his columns for the Richmond (Ky.) Register and CNHI News Service.
