By: E&P Staff People attending the National Society of Newspaper Columnists conference will get an early look at an exhibit on how reporters covered President Kennedy's assassination nearly 42 years ago.
The conference starts this Thursday evening in Grapevine, Texas. On Saturday, attendees will travel to Dallas to visit The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, where they will hear speakers and see the exhibit -- which doesn't open to the general public until July 1.
"Covering Chaos" focuses on the challenges faced by print and broadcast reporters between Nov. 22 and Nov. 25, 1963. The show includes footage, photos, artifacts, and some of the museum's oral-history collection.
