Comic Looks at Tattooing Through a 'Garfield' Prism

By: E&P Staff Many comics readers say "Garfield" is more for kids than adults. Dan Piraro said the same thing with a cartoon tattoo.

In a recent "Bizarro" panel, Piraro showed a man displaying a permanent "Garfield" drawing etched on his back. The regretful man's comment: "THIS is why we don't allow children to get tattoos."

"Garfield," which turns 30 next month, is by Jim Davis of Universal Press Syndicate. "Bizarro" is distributed by King Features Syndicate.
