Comics Inspired by Upcoming Gathering of Cartoonists

By: E&P Staff This coming weekend's meeting of the National Cartoonists Society (NCS) in New Orleans is the subject of at least two comics.

Keith Robinson, in the latest installment of his self-syndicated "Making It" strip, shows a character noting that more than 100 cartoonists at the NCS gathering will help build a house as Habitat for Humanity volunteers. The result: a structure with Snoopy on top!

"Non Sequitur" creator Wiley Miller of Universal Press Syndicate also referenced the Memorial Day weekend meeting this past Sunday, with one of his characters joking that New Orleans residents have suffered enough without cartoonists coming to their city, too.

Miller's comic can be seen here.

Robinson's comic can be seen here.
