By: E&P Staff Graph Expo, the big annual equipment show that historically has been oriented towards the commercial printing industry, is adding a "special interest pavilion" dedicated exclusively to the newspaper industry at its 2010 show in Chicago.
"News Print" will reflect the crossover between newspaper publishing and commercial printing, the show's organizers say.
Graph Expo's newspaper exhibits come as the Newspaper Association of America's annual trade show has emphasized digital products over the "big iron" of printing presses and packaging equipment.
In addition to the News Print pavilion, Graph Expo is offering a series of seminars of special interest to newspaper publishers and printers, it said.
This year's Graph Expo takes place Oct. 3-6 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
