Congressman Pressures Tribune Co. to Release Documents on Plans for L.A. Times

Henry Waxman, representative of California's 33rd, sent a letter to the CEO of the embattled Tribune Co. on Monday asking for documents regarding their future plans for his local paper, The Los Angeles Times.

It’s the second letter Waxman, whose district includes parts of Los Angeles, has sent to Peter Liguori regarding what he calls the “onerous conditions the Tribune Co. is placing on the Los Angeles Times and other newspapers as part of its corporate restructuring.”
