Cooper Joins Campaign-Journalism Venture

By: E&P Staff Marc Cooper has been named editorial coordinator of OffTheBus.net, the new joint venture in campaign journalism founded by HuffingtonPost.com and NewAssignment.net.

Cooper -- who'll also serve as special correspondent for HuffingtonPost.com -- is a columnist for LA Weekly, a contributing editor to The Nation, a freelance writer published in outlets such as The Washington Post and Los Angeles Times, an author, and a member of the journalism faculty at the USC Annenberg School for Communication.

HuffingtonPost.com's co-founder and editor in chief is Arianna Huffington, who also writes a column syndicated by Tribune Media Services -- which also syndicates excerpts from HuffingtonPost.com.
