By: E&P Staff Copley News Service today announced that it's offering packages called "Careers 2008" and "Quick Fixes 2008."
Each has 15 stories, many with art.
The careers package includes articles about job interviews, college students entering the workforce, summer jobs, the way employers check the content that job-seekers have posted online, the overload of data faced by workers, managing stress, getting along with fellow employees, working in an eco-friendly way, "artful bragging," "bad work behaviors," the increase in temporary staffing, and more.
In the "Quick Fixes" package, there are pieces about online and in-person do-it-yourself workshops, replacing filters, improving yards, painting outdoor furniture, and other topics.
Speaking of careers, E&P's soon-to-be-published May print issue will include a story about how syndicated workplace columnists are writing about the recession, and how workplace-oriented comics are commenting about bad economic times.
