Cox Media Group announced plans today to put up the Austin American-Statesman for sale.

The Statesman, which employs more than 200 people, will be put on the market with its seven community newspapers and multiple websites. The company is also selling the Palm Beach Post and Palm Beach Daily News in Florida.
