By: E&P Staff Travidia Inc., Chico, Calif., a provider of Internet marketing management and digital advertising publishing services for newspapers and retailers throughout North America and Europe, hired Viv Neti as vice president of client services.
In his new position, Neti will focus on managing and implementing new client installations and serving as liaison between sales and technology.
Neti joined Travidia from COXnet, where as senior project manager he handled cross-departmental enterprise software projects for multiple Cox newspapers, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Austin (Texas) American-Statesman, and Palm Beach Daily News. In that position he also improved project delivery time by streamlining development and creating tools to communicate project status to customers and upper management.
Before joining COXnet, Neti worked with Nando Media and IBM, where, among other responsibilities, he developed customer-service protocols and implemented product-development strategies.
Travidia customers include The San Francisco Chronicle, The Orange County Register, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, The Dallas Morning News, 14 E.W. Scripps Co. newspapers, all 32 Knight Ridder newspapers, and CanWest Interactive, representing 11 English-language, metro-area publications in Canada.
