Newcombe recently received his Master of Business Administration from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. Between his first and second years he worked for Wikia, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales' technology start-up in San Francisco.

"Jack is the ideal person to take Creators Syndicate to the next level of growth," said founder and CEO Rick Newcombe. "He is brilliant, optimistic and energetic, and he is familiar with new media, having spent the past two years in Silicon Valley getting his MBA at Stanford University
studying media and technology. His background in finance and sales with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley is ideal for helping the company continue as a market leader and expand into new areas of growth."
Creators Syndicate opinion columnist Matt Towery added, "As the former CEO of a privately held company founded by my father, I recognize that few sons or daughters come to a business with the skill sets necessary to hit the ground running. Jack is the exception. He has unique charisma, intellect and a work ethic that is rarely found in corporate America. He would be a huge addition to any organization because of his exceptional skills and experience."
