By: E&P Staff Rhonda Chriss Lokeman's Kansas City Star opinion column is now being distributed by Creators Syndicate.
The award-winning Lokeman comments about topics such as the Iraq War, the importance of civil liberties, "theocrats," the "food police," and more. She has even done columns in the form of poems.
Lokeman is a former editorial writer and Op-Ed editor who has been with the Star since 1981. She was a member of the Star's reporting staff that won the 1982 Pulitzer Prize for local reporting on the Hyatt hotel disaster.
The Maryland native earned a B.S. in journalism in 1980 from the University of Maryland, and also holds a certificate in business management from Smith College.
