Creo Now Under Kodak: 'Business as Usual'

By: E&P Staff Eastman Kodak Co. today completed its purchase of Creo Inc., of Vancouver, British Columbia, in a transaction valued at approximately $988 million.

The acquisition follows yesterday's announcement that the last regulatory approval, from South Africa, had been secured.

All Creo assets and operations are now part of Kodak's Graphic Communications Group.

Creo CEO Amos Michelson said in a statement announcing completion of the deal that "Creo customers, employees, and suppliers should be assured that business will continue as usual under the new organization."
