CTP Clinic on Nexpo Show Floor

Posted
By: E&P Staff The Chesapeake Resource Group LLC, Stevensville, Md., will hold a walk-in clinic on computer-to-plate workflow for newspaper operations during Nexpo, in Chicago, April 1-4.

Offered three times per day in Southern Lithoplate's booth, the clinic is designed to help newspapers gather information and make decisions.

The information will be experience oriented and there will be time for discussion and questions in a small-group environment that will be vendor and technology neutral, with no commercial products presented or endorse, according to Chesapeake principal David Lightfoot.

"Our objective is to provide newspapers with factual tools in an informal atmosphere to assist their efforts in evaluating CTP," Lightfoot said in a statement.

Chesapeake Resource Group is an independent consulting organization specializing in newspaper technology, including, editorial, disaster recovery, CTP, and workflow.
