Daily Star Editor Sam Pollak to Retire After 20 Years

After two decades following hard news and searching for local good-news stories to publish, editor Sam Pollak of Oneonta has decided to turn in his Daily Star media pass.

“Being editor of The Daily Star for the past 20 years has been a singular honor,” said Pollak, 67, who will be retired as of Jan. 1.
