'Daily Star' in Hammond, La., Names New Publisher

By: E&P Staff Keenan Gingles has been named publisher of The Daily Star in Hammond, La.

Gingles, 54, previously was part-owner and publisher of the Ennis (Texas) Daily News for two years.

He has also served as publisher of the Abbeville (La.) Meridional, the Southwest Daily News in Sulphur, La., The Leesville (La.) Daily Leader and the Beauregard Daily News.
