Daisy Named Prism Sales and Marketing Exec

By: E&P Staff Tim Daisy has been appointed sales and marketing executive, North America, at Prism USA, where he will be based in Wilmington, Mass.

With 20 years of experience in business process improvement, Daisy joins Prism from Eastman Kodak, where he was U.S. and Canada regional manager, directing sales, marketing, service and support of business workflow products.

Privately held Prism develops MIS/ERP software and shop-floor productivity management tools for the global printing and graphic arts industry. QTMS iQ is the company's production-management system with flexible options for machine-monitoring modules and custom-developed sensors that automatically record and collate shop-floor information and statistics.

At Kodak, Daisy served as chairman of the Networked Graphic Production partnership for streamlining print production through cross-vendor integration using the standard-based Job Definition Format. Previous to Kodak, Daisy was Global Networked Graphic Production Initiative Manager for Creo, Inc., and earlier was Computer Integrated Manufacturing Product Manager for Printcaf? Software. Earlier in his career he was an internal consultant with Digital Equipment Corp., charged with companywide implementation of just-in-time and total quality control production methods.

Daisy also is involved with CIP4 International and is a member of the NAPL Research and Engineering Council.
