Late last year, Mike Wilson became the first person in 35 years from outside the offices of
The Dallas Morning News to be named the paper’s top editor. The man he replaced, Bob Mong, joined the
News in 1979, held the top job since 2001, and led his newsroom to nine Pulitzer Prizes.
