'Dallas Morning News' Names Deputy Editor/Interactive

By: E&P Staff Anthony Moor has been named deputy editor/interactive at The Dallas Morning News, and will be responsible for all the online news functions of the paper's Web site.

Moor most recently served as associate managing editor/online at the Orlando Sentinel.

"Anthony has a long track record in the news industry, with deep experience serving audiences through print and electronic reporting, through dialogue, and through the smart use of new database technologies," Bob Mong, editor of the Morning News, said in a statement. "I am confident that under his leadership, we will continue to strengthen our ability to deliver relevant, local news and information across multiple platforms."

While Moor was at the Orlando Sentinel, the site was honored with a Batten Award for Innovations in Journalism and five Online Journalism Award nominations.
