By: E&P Staff Dwayne Bray has been named deputy managing editor for metro news at The Dallas Morning News.
Bray, 40, previously served as sports editor and news reporter. He has been a member of The Dallas Morning News staff since 2000. Before that, he worked for the Dayton Daily News, where he was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize.
"Dwayne brings a variety of news experience, strong management skills and a broad perspective on local news to this position," George Rodrigue, the newspaper's vice president/managing editor, said in a statement. "His extensive knowledge of our paper, our staff, our region and especially our readers, will greatly enrich Metro News."
