By: E&P Staff A.H. Belo Corp. said it largely completed its previously-announced reduction of 500 jobs companywide today.

Dallas Morning News President and General Manager John McKeon said about 200 positions were eliminated across all departments at that newspaper and its siblings, including the Denton (Texas) Record-Chronicle, the Al Dia Spanish-language weekly and DFW Printing Co.

About 100 employees were let go last month at Belo's Providence (R.I.) Journal.

Last fall, the company bought out 410 employees and laid off 90 others.
