By: E&P Staff Tribune Interactive has announced that Dana C. Hayes, Jr. has been appointed senior vice president/sales. He was previously senior vice president/sales and marketing for Tribune Media Net.
In the newly created position, Hayes will oversee strategic coordination of the company's national and local sales and sales strategy. Additionally, he will help lead the company's development of new interactive advertising products on TI's network of more than 50 websites.
"Topline sales growth at TI has outpaced the industry, and with Dana aboard we look forward to accelerating that trend," said Tim Landon, Tribune Interactive president in a statement. "Dana's experience managing diverse sales forces and multi-channel products makes him an outstanding addition to our management team."
Hayes has worked at the Tribune Company since 1999, when he was vice president/sales and e-commerce for Tribune Interactive. He had previously held a variety of sales positions at Turner Networks, TBS and TNT, and at Landmark Networks' The Weather Channel and The Travel Channel.
