Darran Simon, Washington Post Journalist, Dies at 43

Darran Simon, a journalist who developed an expertise reporting on trauma during a wide-ranging career that had recently brought him to The Washington Post, where he covered District politics and government, was found dead April 9 at his home in Washington. He was 43.

A spokeswoman for the D.C. medical examiner’s office said a determination of the cause of death is pending further tests.
