Dave Barry Says He'll Write More Columns This Year

By: E&P Staff Dave Barry, in a WashingtonPost.com chat today, said he'll write more for newspapers this year.

Until the end of 2004, Barry did a weekly humor column for The Miami Herald that was syndicated to more than 500 clients by Tribune Media Services. Since then, he has written occasional pieces (such as an annual year-in-review feature) for newspapers.

In the chat, Barry said: "I'm going to be writing more columns this year. I'm going to New Hampshire tomorrow to write about the primary for The Miami Herald, and I'll probably write more about the presidential race after that, because if there's anything more entertaining than the way we choose the president of the United States, I don't know what it is...."
