David Trinko, managing editor of The Lima (Ohio) News, will become the newspaper’s editor on Jan. 1.
The announcement was made by Rick Starks, president and chief operating officer of AIM Media Midwest, the owner of The Lima News, and chairman and CEO Jeremy L. Halbreich.
Trinko will be succeeding current editor Jim Krumel, who is retiring on Dec. 31 after 28 years with the newspaper, the last 20 as editor.
