Dbusiness.com will add AdStar.com's online classified ad placement
service, Advertise123.com, to its pages.
The Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based local business news provider will
integrate a co-branded version of Advertise123.com so dbusiness
readers can place classifieds in more than 75 print newspapers
across the country.
'We have a lot of crossover in the types of customers and markets
we both serve,' said Bob Larsen, vice president of business development
and strategy at dbusiness.com. 'For example, a business owner in Los
Angeles who uses dbusiness.com for local business news and information,
relevant for running their business, can now use our site to place
classified ads in the leading local newspapers such as the Los Angeles
Times, LA Daily News, Orange County Register, Torrance Daily Breeze,
and others,' Larsen said.
Dbusiness.com produces Web sites offering local business coverage on
25 markets in the United States. Earlier this week, Dallas-based Belo
signed a deal to carry content from dbusiness.com.
