Detroit News Managing Editor to Retire

Capping a career that’s stretched from Machinery Magazine and the casinos of Atlantic City to the Los Angeles riots and the reinvention of the American auto industry, Detroit News Managing Editor Don Nauss announced his retirement on Friday.

“It’s been a great run,” said Nauss, who spent 14 years of his 43 years in newspapers at The News. “It’s been a great career.”
