By: E&P Staff Manugraph India Ltd. subsidiary Manugraph DGM Inc., Elizabethvile, Pa., has sold printing equipment to Esdeva Industria Grafica, Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil, where it will print the 25,000-circulation Tribuna de Minas.
Handled by MDGM agent Man Ferrostaal, the sale includes a 10-unit DGM 430 press, four DGM single-position rollstands and one DGM 1035 folder with upper former (using a Fuji low-pressure blower) and DGM operator console. The press line will be configured as to two four-highs and one two-high with a 21.5 inch cutoff.
Features include new-style operator-side enclosures, pneumatics, four full-page motorized compensators, spiral brush dampener, ultrasonic web-break detection with six two-head bars, QTI RMS2000 unit motorization and touch-screen control. The rollstands will use the Jardis RTS90 tensioning system.
The sale also includes a Nela semi-automatic plate bender, Nela EM electronic-manual plate punch and RotaDyne rubber rollers.
Equipment will ship mid-January 2009, and is set for installation by Man Ferrostaal in February.
