New York, NY (May 28, 2013) – Digital First Media today announced that two Media General television stations – WCMH in Columbus, Ohio and WSLS in Roanoke, Virginia – have joined the Company’s AdTaxi Alliance Network.
Media General’s WCMH and WSLS are both NBC affiliate stations and operate in DMA 32 and DMA 66 respectively.
“With the growth of digital audiences and the need to maximize return on all platforms, AdTaxi makes sense for any media company with a trusted brand and long-standing client relationships,” said John Paton, Chief Executive Officer of Digital First Media. “AdTaxi will allow Media General to expand its relationship with existing clients and, at the same time, capture more locally available ad dollars.”
The partnership features the white-labeling of AdTaxi products – including AdTaxi Display, AdTaxi Mobile, AdTaxi Targeted Email, AdTaxi Search Solutions and AdTaxi Video Solutions as well as product fulfillment, merchandising and marketing, training, and full-time sales support.
“Ad Taxi fits nicely into our MG Advanced Digital Solutions, allowing us to reach target audiences regardless of location,” said Andy Lobred, Vice President, Digital Media at Media General. “This partnership allows us to continue down the path of becoming a full-service digital agency for small and medium-sized businesses.”
The Media General stations join the Dallas Morning News’ DMNmedia as members of the Ad Taxi Alliance Network.
