Digital First Media Completes Acquisition of the Boston Herald

Digital First Media, one of the largest publishers of locally based print and online media in the United States, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the Boston Herald.

The Boston Herald’s roots date back to 1846 when it was a single two-sided sheet of news published by a group of Boston printers.
