By: E&P Staff "Dilbert" creator Scott Adams is holding a contest in connection with his new "Stick to Drawing Comics, Monkey Brain!" book that wqas published yesterday by Portfolio/Penguin.
On his blog, the cartoonist asked visitors to suggest a humorously over-the-top blurb that might appear on the back cover of future printings of the book -- which is a collection of Adams' blog posts.
More than 700 suggestions have already been submitted on the "Dilbert" blog since the contest began yesterday. The entry deadline is Oct. 31.
The winner also receives a framed "Dilbert" comic worth $1,500. The next 25 finishers get signed copies of the book, with a small Dogbert sketch on the inside.
Adams does the "Dilbert" comic for more than 2,000 newspapers via United Media.
