Dispatch Reports More Than 1,000 Newspapers, Coupon Inserts Stolen From Grocery Stores

For the second time in recent months, someone stole more than 1,000 copies of The Shawnee Dispatch from two grocery store racks this week.

With both stolen editions stuffed with Procter and Gamble inserts worth up to $95 in coupon savings, the newspaper suspects extreme couponers are to blame — a problem increasingly cited by newspapers across the country.
