By: E&P Staff It's a display that would thaw even the cranky Lucy.

Less than a month remains before "ICE! featuring a Charlie Brown Christmas" opens for the holiday season in Nashville, Tenn. The display of ice sculptures tells the story of the classic holiday TV special "A Charlie Brown Christmas."

A team of 40 ice sculptors from Harbin, China, is working to carve two million pounds of ice into the iconic ?Peanuts? characters and the scenery that surrounds them. The colorful and interactive exhibit is constructed inside the Gaylord Opryland?s Gaslight ICE! Theater in Nashville that is kept cool at just nine degrees.

Before the exhibit opens to the public on Nov. 20, members of Charles Schulz?s family will have a private tour of the display when they visit Nashville.

?We?ve all seen an ice sculpture, we?ve all seen carvings, but I think to see room after room of these Charlie Brown Ice sculptures is going to be mind-boggling,? Jeannie Schulz, wife of the late ?Peanuts? cartoonist Charles Schulz, said in a statement. She and her son Craig discuss the project in a video recorded at the Charles Schulz Museum and Research Center in Santa Rosa, Calif., here.

?Each holiday season, fans of all ages look forward to watching 'A Charlie Brown Christmas,' and having a chance to see it brought to life with ICE! will truly be a wonderful and unique way to celebrate this time of year,? Helene Gordon, VP of ?Peanuts? Worldwide at United Media, said in a statement.

The exhibit will be open seven days a week with times ranging from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., depending on the day of the week, and will end its run on Jan. 2, 2010. Ticket prices range from $13 (child) to $24 (adult), depending on the day. Children ages 3 years and under get in free.
