By: E&P Staff Even people who admire George W. Bush think he's the worst president ever?
That's what the current Doonesbury.com poll seems to be saying -- though it's possible that some of the site's many liberal visitors, when voting, made believe they were admirers of Bush to make it seem like even fans of the president feel he's doing a rotten job.
As of 1:45 p.m. eastern time today, 15,573 people had voted in the online survey -- with 79% saying Bush is the worst president ever, 11% the second worst (behind James Buchanan), and 8% the third worst (behind Buchanan and Herbert Hoover).
For the 13,755 voters who said they hate Bush, 83% called him the worst president ever, 10% the second worst, and 6% the third worst.
The really interesting statistic was that among the 319 voters who said they love Bush, 55% called him the worst president ever, 11% the second worst, and 33% the third worst.
And for the 1,499 voters who said they can take or leave Bush, 56% called him the worst president ever, 18% the second worst, and 25% the third worst.
