DOUBLECLICK IN TRIPLE TROUBLE

Michigan Attorney General Jennifer Granholm has joined the growing list of
investigators of DoubleClick Inc.'s method of collecting user information
for advertising and marketing purposes.

This comes on the heels of a Federal Trade Commission inquiry and an
investigation by the New York Attorney General. In addition, six individual
lawsuits have been filed over the company's privacy practices.

In response, DoubleClick announced the creation of the DoubleClick Privacy
Advisory Board, a new position of chief privacy officer, and a national campaign
'to educate consumers about online privacy,' said Kevin Ryan, president of
DoubleClick. The campaign includes a Web site (www.privacychoices.org) that
allows consumers to opt out of DoubleClick cookies.
