Factiva, a provider of online business news that is jointly owned
by Dow Jones & Co. and Reuters Group Plc, is combining Dow Jones
Interactive and Reuters Business Briefing at a redesigned
Factiva.com. To be available by the third quarter, the site will
provide access to content from nearly 8,000 sources in 22
languages.

Factiva.com will also provide tools allowing users to research
and monitor news and information on specific companies or
industries.

Previously, Factiva has concentrated on providing access to
business news via corporate intranets. The new strategy will
focus on Factiva.com, which is built on XML-based architecture.
