By: E&P Staff Chris Doyle, former president and publisher of the Daily Chronicle of DeKalb County, Ill., has been named the Collier County Publishing Company?s vice president of advertising, the Naples (Fla.) Daily News recently reported.
Prior to working at the Daily Chronicle, Doyle worked in the advertising department of The Times Leader of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. While Doyle was president and publisher of the Daily Chronicle, the paper?s advertising revenues and core profit doubled, according to the Naples Daily News.
The Daily News also reported that Bob Sandy, a former advertising director of Collier County Publishing Co., has been promoted to general manager of Collier?s Marco Island operations, which include the Marco Island Eagle.
Collier County Publishing is part of the E.W. Scripps Co, which publishes the Naples Daily News, as well as the Bonita Daily News, the Bonita Banner, the Marco Island Eagle, the Collier Citizen, and Latinos Ahora (Latinos Now).
