By: E&P Staff Digital Technology International has introduced a series of new strategic platforms and software solutions with the aim of providing new ways for publishers to reduce operating costs, grow revenue with targeted advertising and transform to Web-first business models.
Solutions premiered this week at the Newspaper Association of America's mediaXchange conference in Las Vegas include the following main components.
"Strategic Platforms" consist of DTI Cloud, the Software-as-a-Service deployment model that provides operating efficiencies for business-critical applications and content; DTI Audience, the audience-centric foundation connecting all touch points between a newspaper and its readers, subscribers, advertisers, shadow customers and non-subscribers; and the Liquid Media integration platform that enables sharing of information and digital assets throughout a news media organization.
The five product families comprise DTI AudienceReach, a central source of all touch points between a newspaper and its customers for targeting ads based on an online user's content preferences over time; DTI ContentPublisher, an integrated newsroom system that includes DTI Lightning, the multidimensional content-management system for Web and print publishing from a single database; DTI Circulation, for customer-centric management of the circulation business cycle; the DTI Advertising revenue platform to manage all ad resources and processes; DTI Financials to manage and streamline financial and HR processes.
