By: E&P Staff Digital Technology International of Springville, Utah, contracted with Escenic of Oslo, Norway to integrate and resell Escenic Content Studio as a part of the DTI PageSpeed Web Publisher Suite.
A tool for publishing all forms of digital content to digital media like the Web, wireless, short messaging, PDAs, Escenic's technology "meshes well with the unified publishing and content management platform that DTI has built," said DTI CEO Don Oldham in announcing the OEM agreement. He said DTI approaches publishing with the idea that print and electronic content "should be managed centrally -- not in two completely separate systems -- with media-specific tools for production."
Escenic solutions are used for more 240 Web sites, including news providers, in nine countries. Newspapers using Escenic include Oslo's Aftenposten, Amsterdam's De Telegraaf, and Sweden's A-Pressen group (centralized operation of 48 newspaper sites).
