By: E&P Staff Digital Technology International, Springville, Utah, appointed David Page as director - Asia Pacific region, where it is introducing its Liquid Media solutions to the Australian and Asia Pacific industry. The appointment coincides with DTI's work for Australia's Fairfax Media.

DTI's Liquid Media allows newspapers to share data, content and graphic elements with different systems across multiple channels (print, online, etc.). Through Liquid Media, newspapers can leverage their intellectual assets and flow them into any application or media format, regardless of platform.

Liquid Media architecture is built on the Ensemble rapid-integration platform from InterSystems, Cambridge, Mass., which enables applications to rapidly connect with existing systems and processes. "Through its Sydney office," Page said in a statement, "InterSystems is providing DTI with additional technical resources to support Australian customers with complex integration requirements."

Prior to transferring from its U.K. office to head the company in Australia, Page was a senior consultant with DTI, working with British customers such as The Telegraph Group to help transform their operations. A Briton with permanent residence in Australia, Page moved to Sydney in 2000, where he was regional sales and marketing vice president for net-linx Publishing Solutions until returning to the United Kingdom in March 2006.
