Dueling Papers: Why 'WSJ' Will Likely Top 'USA Today' for Several Circ Periods

By: E&P Staff Which daily is set to be the No. 1 newspaper in the country by circulation on Oct. 26? USA Today has held the spot, but its position is in jeopardy after the paper said its daily circ would drop 17%.

The Wall Street Journal has been nipping at the heels of the Nation's Newspaper, and could very well land the top position. USA Today is claiming it will still be the top newspaper ranked by print circulation.

But a new ABC rule change comes into effect with this new reporting period that could help bolster the Wall Street Journal's circ.
