Durocher Retiring from The Nashua 'Telegraph'

By: E&P Staff Claudette Durocher is retiring from The Nashua (N.H.) Telegraph after serving as editorial page editor for 18 years.

Durocher has spent the past 44 years in journalism. She began work at Telegraph in 1963 with a temporary summer position; Editor Fred Dobens later added her to the permanent staff that fall.

Durocher's first full-time beat at the Telegraph was as a crime and court reporter. After that, she became a feature writer and photographer, and then a Nashua City Hall reporter.

After covering city hall for 12 years, Durocher went on to serve as a city editor, special sections editor, and associate editor at the Telegraph before becoming the editorial page editor.
