Eagle Licenses PBS Circ Software

By: E&P Staff To enhance targeted marketing and improve reporting, The Eagle, Bryan, Texas, has licensed MediaPlus Circulation, MediaPlus iServices Subscriber and MediaPlus List MatchPlus from Publishing Business Systems, Minneapolis, Minn.

Circulation Director Tony Powell cited "comprehensive functionality, strong target marketing capabilities and the ease of use" in the selection of MediaPlus Circulation.

The 23,211-circulation Eagle is part of Evening Post Publishing Co., Charleston, S.C., which owns 14 other dailies and weeklies in the Carolinas and Texas.

The agreement includes a provision that MediaPlus Circulation will manage the entire circulation business cycle, from subscriber information processing to newspaper delivery, with tools to increase sales, manage returns and create, test and analyze direct marketing campaigns.

Incorporated in MediaPlus Circulation, MediaPlus iServices Subscriber allows subscribers to perform everyday transactions themselves online, with information immediately integrated with the circulation system database.
