East Africa Is Focus of Event at News Service's Office

By: E&P Staff The Global Information Network news service in New York City is the site of an event this Thursday evening about the future of East Africa.

Speakers include Arthur Muliro, deputy managing director at the International Secretariat of the Society for International Development in Rome; Aidan Eyakuze, program director of EA Scenarios and co-founder of Serengeti Advisers in Tanzania; and Barbara Heinzen, a London-based geographer.

Global distributes stories from the developing world to newspapers and other media outlets in North America.
