ECRM Names de Vaal Business Director for Europe

By: E&P Staff ECRM in Tewksbury, Mass., has appointed Henry de Vaal as business director for Europe, where he oversees sales and marketing. Based in Utrecht, Holland, de Vaal reports to ECRM Vice President, Sales and Marketing Vice President Doug Barr.

De Vaal's more than 33 years' experience in the graphic arts industry began in 1977, as product manager supporting Expograph's distribution of ECRM's Autokon monochrome laser scanner. He held positions of increasing sales and marketing responsibility with such suppliers as Autologic and Monotype before joining ECRM in 1991 as a sales director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In late 1999 he joined manroland as business development manager in Western Europe. In 2004 he was named Howgraphic managing director, and was promoted in 2008 to business unit manager for its parent company, Wifac BV.
