By: E&P Staff United Media editorial cartoonist Matt Bors is doing a biweekly comic for the American Civil Liberties Union that launches today.
The "Civil Discourse" comic is part of ACLU's "StandUp" campaign to educate younger audiences about civil liberties issues.
?We've seen a lot of our civil liberties trampled on over the last few years and the ACLU has been fighting back regardless of which way the political wind blows," said Bors. "I'm proud to be working with them.?
The Oregon-based cartoonist added that he hopes "Civil Discourse" will make people laugh, "but I also want them to think about how important their rights are.?
