'El Latino' Publisher Arrested in Arizona

The morning of July 27, police in Cottonwood, Ariz., along with Homeland Security investigators, searched the home and two business offices of Tomas A. Bialet, publisher of El Latino.

Originally from Argentina, the 59-year-old Bialet is alleged to have defrauded people who sought his help preparing naturalization and tax forms, according to the Cottonwood-based thrice-weekly Verde Independent's Website, verdenews.com.

Bialet was arrested at his home and charged with fraudulent schemes, theft and forgery, verdenews.com reported.

El Latino operated a Website, but its domain name expired two weeks ago.
