By: Schurz Communications has named Dave Eldridge publisher of the Winchester Sun, effective August 13th.
Eldridge's new position was announced Monday. He has been publisher of The Jessamine Journal in Nicholasville for nine years and is a former circulation manager at Winchester.
Schurz Communications is the parent company of both the Sun and the Journal. It also has newspapers in Danville and Stanford, and several other states. Scott Schurz Junior is editor and publisher of The Advocate-Messenger in Danville and will also become editor of the Jessamine Journal.
Eldridge succeeds James Kroemer, who has accepted a position with The Goshen News in Indiana.
