E&P Announces Editorial Change

The Duncan McIntosh Company, Inc. has announced changes to the editorial department of Editor & Publisher magazine. Jeff Fleming has been named editor-in-chief, Kristina Ackermann is managing editor, and Deena Higgs Nenad is associate editor.

This change allows the entire E&P editorial staff to operate under one roof in the company's Irvine, CA headquarters. Editorial previously operated from four states spread across three time zones. The move is expected to improve communications in producing the print journal known to many as the pillar of the newspaper industry.

In the ten months since Duncan McIntosh Co. took ownership of E&P, the company developed a vision for the future of the magazine and identified key changes that needed to be made -— changes that to date have not been implemented.

"We understand what this magazine means to the industry and the responsibility we took on when we bought it," company president, Duncan McIntosh said. "We are committed to fulfilling that responsibility and improving the quality of content both in print and online."

Under the new staff, E&P will continue monthly publication and will be redesigning the website editorandpublisher.com and its other digital offerings in the coming months.
